Wednesday Forecast: Mild Temperatures, Showers Across Newfoundland and Labrador

A mix of cloud and showers is expected across Newfoundland and Labrador on Wednesday, with temperatures generally remaining in the mid to upper teens.


On the island, Corner Brook, Port aux Basques and Gander are forecast to reach around 19 to 21 C, while St. John’s could see a high near 19 C. Showers are expected in several areas, including Corner Brook, Port Saunders and Mary’s Harbour, while some locations may see a few sunny breaks.


Across Labrador, temperatures will vary considerably. Happy Valley-Goose Bay is expected to be one of the warmer spots, reaching around 20 C, with Labrador City and Churchill Falls near 18 C.


Cooler conditions are expected along the Labrador coast, with a high of just 11 C in Hopedale and 12 C in Nain. Mary’s Harbour is forecast to reach 15 C.
