Weapons offense in St. John's deemed unfounded

The RNC is responding to a reported weapons offence in the area of Jenmar Crescent in St. John's. Residents of this area, between Ruby Line and Green Acre Drive, are asked to SHELTER IN PLACE. Motorists should avoid the area & obey police direction. Updates to follow.

UPDATE

Police response and investigation has determined the report of a weapons offence to be unfounded.

Officers are now departing the area.
