Water Outage, Road Closure & Boil Water Advisory for Parts of Corner Brook

The City of Corner Brook has scheduled a water outage and road closure for today, commencing at 8:30 a.m. This outage and road closure is expected to last for approximately 8-10 hours. In addition, a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory will be in effect.

The water outage and precautionary boil water advisory is necessary to make improvements to the water distribution system.

Areas to be affected are as follows:

• Bell Street #’s 15-20

• Rivervale Road #’s 17-19

• Woodman’s Road

In conjunction with the repairs, Bell Street and Woodman’s Road will be closed to through traffic. The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.

Due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the systems, the boil water advisory is expected to remain in effect until further notice.
