Warm Temperatures Expected Across Western And Central Newfoundland

A mix of sun and cloud is expected across Newfoundland and Labrador today, with temperatures varying considerably across the province.

The warmest conditions are expected across western and central Newfoundland, where temperatures are forecast to climb into the low 20s.

Corner Brook is expected to reach 22 C, while Grand Falls-Windsor could see a high of 23 C. Gander is forecast to reach 20 C, with Marystown near 16 C.

Across Labrador, temperatures will range from the low teens along the coast to the low 20s inland. Happy Valley-Goose Bay is forecast to reach 21 C, while Labrador City and Churchill Falls are expected to reach 18 C.

Cooler conditions are expected along the Labrador coast, with highs of 10 C in Nain, 11 C in Hopedale and 15 C in Mary's Harbour.

On the Northern Peninsula, Port Saunders is forecast to reach 18 C, while St. Anthony will see a high near 14 C.

In eastern Newfoundland, St. John's is expected to reach 14 C, with a high of 16 C in Marystown.
