Warm and Mostly Sunny Thursday Across Newfoundland and Labrador

Newfoundland and Labrador is in for a warm Thursday, with several areas expected to reach the low 20s.


On the Island, St. John’s and Gander are forecast to reach 23 C, while Grand Falls-Windsor could also hit 23 C. Marys­town is expected to reach 22 C, with Corner Brook topping out at 21 C. Port aux Basques is forecast to reach 18 C, while Port Saunders and St. Anthony are expected to reach 17 C and 16 C, respectively.


Across Labrador, Happy Valley-Goose Bay is forecast to be the warmest at 20 C. Nain is expected to reach 17 C, while Mary’s Harbour could see a high of 14 C. Churchill Falls and Labrador City are both forecast to reach 13 C, with Hopedale cooler at 10 C.


Conditions are expected to vary across the province, with sunshine and partly cloudy skies for many communities. Some areas, particularly across Labrador, could see showers.
