Warehouse Roof Collapses in Corner Brook Forcing Road Closure #nltraffic

The City of Corner Brook says that Main St. and Lester Avenue will remain closed indefinitely.

A portion of a warehouse roof collapsed in the downtown area on Thursday.

The building was occupied by Steers and served as a distribution centre.

Corner Brook said that the closure is for the safety of motorists and pedestrians.

There were high winds in the area at the time.
