Wanted man found in possession of two stolen dirt bikes

RCMP arrested 38-year-old Blair William Summers in St. Jude's after executing an outstanding arrest warrant. He was found in possession of two stolen dirt bikes that were recently stolen from Frenchman’s Cove on the Burin Peninsula.

Police say that sometime between July 6 and July 9, the garage of a residential property in Frenchman’s Cove was broken into while the homeowners were away.

Two dirt bikes were stolen.

On July 15, Summers was wanted for charges of break and enter into a business in Dildo and a parole violation.

The two dirt bikes were parked in plain view on the property.

Summers is charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00. His next court appearance is on August 2.
