Walmart to close Topsail Road location

Walmart has announced that six stores will be closing across Canada.

Of the stores, one will close in Newfoundland, three in Ontario, and two in Alberta.

The stores that will close include the location on Topsail Road. Other locations are in Malton, ON, Hamilton, ON, Calgary AB, Edmonton AB, and Kitchener East, ON.

The company says all associates at these stores will be offered positions at nearby Walmart locations.

Each of these locations is in a market that is already served by other Walmart stores.
