Wakeham announces departure of Pat Parfrey

Dr. Pat Parfrey is no longer the CEO of NL Health Services.

Premier Tony Wakeham announced this afternoon that Ron Johnson has been appointed as Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Johnson most recently served as Vice-President of Digital Health, Innovation, and Research, as well as Chief Information Officer.

There was no reason given as to why Parfrey is no longer at the helm.

Wakeham also announced changes to the Board of Trustees. Ross Wiseman is being appointed as a Trustee and Interim Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. Bob Andrews has agreed to remain on the Board as a Trustee.
