Visitor restrictions in place on unit at Clarenville Hospital due to COVID-19

Visitation has been temporarily suspended on the medical/surgical unit at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville.

The suspension is because of 11 cases of COVID-19 among patients and staff.

In certain exceptional circumstances, when determined by the health-care team, patients may be permitted one essential visitor/support person while visitor restrictions are in place.

The restriction will be reassessed regularly.
