Vehicle Vs Dirt Bike Collision in Mount Pearl send Person to Hospital

A vehicle vs dirt bike collision in Mount Pearl on Monday night sent one person to hospital.


Firefighters from Mount Pearl fire station were alerted about the incident at approximately 9:35 p.m. on Monday. The incident occurred at the intersection of Richard Nolan Drive and the westbound off-ramp from Pitts Memorial Drive in Mount Pearl.


Crews arrived and shut down the intersection and treated the dirt bike operator until paramedics could arrive. The person was then placed on a stretcher and taken to the Health Science Centre for further treatment.


Officers from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Collision Reconstructionist team attended the scene to investigate the collision.


Richard Nolan Drive travelling into Southlands between Pitts Memorial Drive and Merchant Drive was closed as police investigated the collision.
