Update on Provincially Operated Pools

The provincially-owned and operated pools in Gander and Corner Brook will re-open today.

As per public health guidelines, operational changes have been made to enhance the safety and cleaning procedures of these pool sites.

There will be a restricted number of patrons allowed within the pools at any one time and a requirement for pre-booking of swim times. Patrons can pre-book swims by calling:

Plans to reopen the provincially owned and operated pool in Happy Valley-Goose Bay have been delayed due to ceiling damage sustained at the end of July. The Department of Transportation and Works is currently assessing the extent of damage and an update will be provided at a later date.
