Unsettled weather expected across most of the province today

An area of low pressure off the coast of Labrador will spread rain across the Big Land today, the rain will be heavy at times for coastal areas. In the Labrador City area, rain may change to snow at times. Highs will range from 4 to 10.

Rain is expected along the west coast of Newfoundland and winds will be strong in the Port aux Basques area. There is a chance of showers in central Newfoundland and mainly sunny skies are expected for the Avalon. Highd will be from 9 to 12.
