United Airlines flight makes emergency landing at the Stephenville Airport

On Tuesday a United Airlines flight made an emergency landing at the Stephenville Dymond International Airport in Stephenville.

Flight UAL55, a Boeing 777-200, was forced to land due to a passenger requiring immediate medical attention.

Airport staff, along with RCMP, EMS and Fire were on site prior to landing to accept the aircraft.

There is no word on the condition of the passenger.

The flight departed Charles de Gaulle/Roissy Airport and was headed to Newark Liberty International Airport.
