Two structure fires in St. John's overnight

First responders were called to two fires overnight in St. John's.


The first was a structure fire in the center city area. St. John’s Regional Fire Department and HSC Ambulance also attended the scene.


A male resident was transported to the hospital, by paramedics, with non-life-threatening injures.


The investigation is ongoing.


At about 4:30 this morning there was another structure fire in the center city area.


St. John’s Regional Fire Department and HSC Ambulance also attended.


Two residents escaped the structure and were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.


That investigation is also ongoing.
