Two People Taken to Hospital Following Collision in St. John’s on Thursday

Two people were taken to hospital on Thursday following a collision in St. John’s

Firefighters were called to the intersection of Thorburn Road and Seaborn Street just after 7:50 p.m. Crews arrived to find a two-vehicle collision blocking parts of the intersection.

Firefighters used extrication tools to free a person from the passenger side of the SUV. The driver of the taxi cab was taken to hospital with what appeared to be a face injury.

Both vehicles involved sustained significant damage as a result of the collision. Parts of the intersection were closed due to the incident.
