Two People Displaced following House Fire in St. John’s on Tuesday

Firefighters with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department were dispatched to a home on St. Teresa's Crt at around 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday for reports of a structure fire.

Shortly after firefighters left West End fire station, smoke could be seen coming from the home. When firefighters arrived, they quickly laid an attack line and entered the home to contain the blaze. The fire was contained in a room in the rear of the home. The room did sustain significant fire damage and the home sustained smoke damage throughout.

No one is believed to have been home at the time of the fire. Two residents have been displaced as a result of the blaze. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
