Two New COVID-19 Cases, Both in Western Health Region
As of today (April 13) there are 2 new cases of COVID-19 in NL. The new cases are in Western Health. The two cases in are travel-related.
At this time we have a total of 244 cases in the province.
Of those cases, 9 are in hospital, 3 are in ICU, and 133 have recovered.
There have been three deaths.

John Haggie says that some hotels are turning down reservations from people. He also says to stop looking for loopholes. Measures in this province are stricter than those in Europe during WWII. Turning frustrated, Haggie said that "common sense needs to be applied." Stop looking for loopholes. People usually develop symptoms late in the incubation period.
Any health care workers who work in more than one long term care site are no longer permitted.
