Two New Cases of COVID-19
Newfoundland and Labrador reported two new cases of COVID-19 today bringing the total number of cases to nine.
Both cases are located in the Eastern Health region. One is travel-related and the other is a close contact with the first case announced yesterday.
Anyone considered a close contact of wither case has been advised to quarantine.
The source of the unknown case from yesterday is in fact travel-related.
One person is in hospital due to the virus. 294 people have recovered. To date, 57,510 people have been tested.
