Two moose deceased following single-vehicle crash on the Outer Ring Road on Wednesday night

On Wednesday night, a single-vehicle accident on the Outer Ring Road in St. John's resulted in the deaths of two moose.

The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. in the westbound lanes between Team Gushue Highway and the Thorburn Road exit. Emergency crews responded to the scene, finding a damaged SUV and the two deceased moose.

While no human injuries were reported, the westbound lanes were closed for approximately an hour.
