Two males arrested after police responded to a disturbance in downtown St. John's on Wednesday night

Shortly before 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday night, Patrol Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) responded to a complaint of a disturbance in the downtown area of St John's. Police received reports that the two males had been fighting prior to police arrival.

Following thier investigation, One of the

males involved was charged with assault and was conveyed to the lock-up to appear before a judge in the morning, while the other male was charged with assault with a weapon.
