Two killed in separate motorcycle crashes on the weekend

It has been another tragic weekend on the province's roadways. Two men were killed in separate motorcycle crashes this weekend.

The first happened on Friday afternoon on the Trans Canada Highway near Little Rapids. The driver of the motorcycle, a 53-year-old resident of Pasadena, was found deceased at the scene. He was wearing a helmet which came off during the crash.

On Saturday there was a motorcycle crash on route 510, approximately three kilometres north of Mary’s Harbour. The driver, a 58-year-old from Quebec, died at the scene. He was also wearing a helmet which came off during the crash.

The investigation into both crashes is continuing.
