Two individuals in double shooting in Harris Point have died

The RCMP confirmed this afternoon that the two individuals in a double shooting in Harris Point have died.

The deceased is a man in his thirties and a woman in her twenties.

The investigation is continuing and there is no current threat to the public.

Both individuals were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries sustained from gunshot wounds on Monday morning.

Police provided no further details.
