Two government departments reopening at 50 Elizabeth Avenue

The offices of the Department of Energy and Mines and the Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development at 50 Elizabeth Avenue in St. John’s will re-open today.

The offices of Fines and Administration will remain closed.

The front entrance of the building will remain closed, and staff/visitors are asked to use the entrance at the rear of the building. Anyone entering the building is also asked to pay attention to the posted signage.

The building was closed as a result of a water main break.
