Two Fishermen Lost at Sea, Community Mourns Across Baie Verte Peninsula

Communities across the Baie Verte Peninsula and Newfoundland and Labrador are mourning the loss of two fishermen following a tragic incident at sea on July 21.

There was one lone survivor. The fishermen were from the community of Harbour Round.

The identities of the deceased have not been publicly released.

The fishing industry remains one of the most dangerous professions.
