Two fatalities after collision near Blue Canoe Campground

The RCMP has confirmed that there were two fatalities on the TCH near Blue Canoe Campground over the weekend.

The head-on collision occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway west of the Blue Canoe Campground on Saturday morning.

Two men are deceased and one individual has serious injuries.

The driver and lone occupant of one of the vehicles, a 64-year-old man, died at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were transported to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the second vehicle, a 19-year-old man, later died in hospital.

The investigation is continuing.
