Two drivers were stopped on the northeast Avalon overnight and found to not have a valid insurance policy.
At 9:00 pm the RNC conducted a traffic stop in the west end of St. John’s. Police found the 33-year-old male driver did not have insurance. He was charged for operating a motor vehicle without valid insurance.
Just after midnight officers conducted a traffic stop in Mount Pearl. The 46-year-old male driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act for operating a motor vehicle with no valid registration or insurance.
In both cases, the vehicles were impounded.
