Two charged after police execute search warrant in Clarenville

The RCMP charged two individuals after executing a search warrant at a residence in Clarenville.

44-year-old Richard Foss and 36-year-old Marie Strong were arrested and charged on Tuesday.

Inside the home police located and seized cocaine, crack cocaine, oxycodone pills, various items consistent with drug trafficking, cash, a crossbow with arrows, shotgun rounds, and an imitation handgun.

Foss is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking oxycodone, two counts of possession contrary to a firearm prohibition order (crossbow and ammunition) and three counts of breaching conditions of a court release order.

Strong is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking oxycodone.

The investigation is continuing.
