Two arrested in Corner Brook for trafficking cocaine

The RCMP-RNC Joint Forces Operation West has made another drug bust.

Officers arrested 30-year-olds Ryan Hampton and Samantha Hampton for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

The pair were arrested in Corner Brook where RNC found them to be in possession of cocaine.

Later a warrant to search the Airport Avenue Deer Lake home was authorized and executed. In the residence police seized drug paraphernalia and packaging supplies.

Both individuals are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine and were released from custody.

The two are set to appear in court at a later date.
