Two accidents in Harbour Grace causing traffic problems

Emergency crews are responding to two separate injury motor vehicle collisions which have impacted travel between Harbour Grace and Carbonear.

The first accident is on the Veteran's Highway (Rte 75) near the dump and HarbourGrace entrance. Several power lines are down. That portion of the highway is now impassable.

A second Mlcollision on Cathedral Street, near Hipsley Road, is blocking that road also. It is unknown how long these blockages will last.

Motorists are asked to avoid those areas.
