The Trinity Conception Placentia Health Foundation Telethon raised $948,612 on Sunday.


The Telethon that took place at St. Francis School in Harbour Grace is now in its 36th year.


It provides equipment for the Carbonear General Hospital, Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Placentia Health Centre, and Dr. Wm. H. Newhook Community Health Centre.
