A train has run through Tyendinaga on Monday night after protesters blocked the tracks for weeks.

On Monday night more protesters returned to the train tracks but left the area before morning.

On Monday morning, the Ontario Provincial Police moved in to clear blockades near Belleville, Ontario.

Several marked and unmarked vehicles along with a barrage of officers descended on the area.

Some arrests have been made.

At the same time, the RCMP have entered Unist’ot’en territory in British Columbia.

The groups are protesting against a proposed natural gas pipeline in northern British Columbia.
