Tragic weekend in the province with two drownings

It has been a tragic weekend in the province with two drownings.

The first happened on Canada Day when a 19-year-old female went missing while swimming at Sunshine Camp in St. John's.

Then on Sunday the body of the 17-year-old male was recovered by the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team. The male drowned while swimming in a swimming hole referred to as Cow Pond in McKay’s on Saturday afternoon.
