Traffic stop results in drug seizure

On Tuesday afternoon the RNC conducted a traffic stop in downtown St. John's.


The 41-year-old male operator of the vehicle was arrested for driving without a license, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, and resisting or obstructing a police officer.


The male was conveyed to the City Lock-up and appeared for court later in the afternoon.
