Traffic and Parking Impacts for St. John's Pride Parade

There will be several road closures today for the St. John's Pride Parade.

The parade will begin on New Gower street, and travel East on Duckworth Street, before turning up Cavendish Square, onto Military Road, and ending in Bannerman Park. The parade will begin at noon, while closures will begin at 9:00 am and remain closed until the parade passes. Flag persons will be on site to complete the closure, and motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes.

New Gower Street Eastbound (from Waldegrave Street to Duckworth Street)

New Gower Street West Bound (from Long’s Hill to Waldegrave Street)

Duckworth Street (Duckworth to Cavendish square)

Military Road (from Cavendish Square to Bannerman Road)

Bannerman Road (from Military Road to the Park Entrance)

No Parking/Designated Tow Away Zones

New Gower Street West Bound (from Long’s Hill to Waldegrave Street)

Parking

Parking is limited for the event, and alternative forms of transportation are encouraged, as is parade attendees being dropped off. Parking along the parade path is not permitted for the above noted times.
