Newfoundland and Labrador’s tourism industry generated more than $1.4 billion in revenue in 2025, as the province recorded increases in visitors, cruise traffic and park usage.

The province saw a four per cent rise in total air and auto visitors compared with 2024, reflecting continued growth in the sector.

The 2025 cruise season was also a strong contributor, with nearly 100,000 passengers visiting ports across the province.

Provincial parks experienced record-breaking numbers, with visitation, revenue and occupancy reaching all-time highs. Officials say the growth continues a steady upward trend that began in 2022.

The province is also seeing increased tourism activity outside the traditional summer peak, with both spring and fall visitation on the rise.
