Torrent River Bridge Closed Until Further Notice

The Torrent River Bridge, located on the Torrent River Forest Access Road near the community of Hawke’s Bay, is closed to all vehicle traffic until further notice.

The structure has become a risk to public safety after damage to the bridge was recently discovered.

Signage has been posted at the intersection of Torrent River Forest Access Road and Route 430, the intersection of Torrent River Forest Access Road and Farm Road, and barricades have been erected at the bridge site.
