Tony Wakeham running for PC leadership

The MHA for Stephenville-Port au Port is throwing his name in as a contender for the PC Party of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Tony Wakeham has announced that he will seek the leadership.

The announcement comes after David Brazil, the current interim leader, said he will not run for the leadership role.

In 2018, Wakeham ran for the leadership of the party but he was defeated by Ches Crosbie who resigned as leader on March 31, 2021.
