Three Presumptive Cases of COVID-19 in NL

The Chief Medical Officer of Health has said that there are now three presumptive cases of COVID-19 in Labrador-Grenfell Region.

The Newfoundland and Labrador English School District said that no students or parents allowed entering schools effective immediately.

Anyone arriving from outside of Canada is asked to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms. You may also be asked to self-isolate if you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.

There are no specific treatments for coronaviruses, and there is no vaccine that protects against coronaviruses. Most people with common human coronavirus illness will recover on their own.
