Three arrested in Investigation of Firearms Offences

Three people have been arrested after an investigation into firearms offences in St. John's.


The RNC Criminal Investigation Division launched an investigation into firearms offences in St. John’s in mid-August. Police searched a property on Coronation Street in St. John’s on August 29.


Three individuals were taken into custody at the scene in connection with the investigation.

Felicia Pynn of St. John’s has been charged with unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, breach of firearm prohibition, and failure to comply with release order.


James Pitcher-Pynn of St. John’s faces charges of unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing it is unauthorized, careless use of a firearm, possession of controlled drug for the purpose of trafficking, and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon.


Shane Ryan has been charged with failure to comply with a release order.


The investigation remains active.
