Three arrested after Corner Brook traffic stop results in seizure of cocaine and other drugs

RCMP-RNC Joint Forces Operation West arrested three men after a traffic stop near Corner Brook on August 6.

The traffic stop resulted in the seizure of cocaine and illicit prescription medications. They have each been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

On Wednesday afternoon, officers executed a traffic stop near Corner Brook as part of an ongoing investigation and seized a number of items, including a quantity of cocaine, unauthorized prescription medication and other items consistent with possession for the purposes of trafficking. 

Three men were arrested and taken into police custody. They each face a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

The three men were released with conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
