Thousands of voters take advantage of Advance Polling Day

The Advance Polls were open on Tuesday across the province for the 2025 Newfoundland and General Election.

In total, 25,758 votes were cast.

The district with the highest turnout was Harbour Grace – Port de Grave which saw 1,323 voters followed by Ferryland which had 1,034 ballots cast.

The total number was down from the last provincial election in 2021 where 33,584 votes were cast at the Advance Polls.

The provincial election takes place on Tuesday, October 14.
