Nine people killed school shooting in BC

The RCMP were called to a confirmed active shooter incident at the Tumber Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia on Tuesday.
As a result of the incident, eight people were killed, and 27 others were injured.
In the Tumbler Ridge Secondary School, police found six victims; another succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital.
Two more people were found dead inside a residence that is connected to the incident. The two have been identified as the mother and sibling of the suspect.
The suspect, 18-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar, has taken their own life. Police say that the suspect acted alone.
Tumbler Ridge has a population of 2,399. The community is 170 kilometres northeast of Prince George.
