Temporary Road Closures Planned for Team Gushue Highway Construction

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is advising motorists of upcoming road closures required to complete the final phase of the Team Gushue Highway project.

Closures will be in effect from March 25 to July 31 and will impact key routes in the area. All ramps at the Heavy Tree Road interchange on Pitts Memorial Drive (Route 2) will be closed during this period. In addition, Robert E. Howlett Memorial Drive will be shut down between Ruby Line and Brookfield Road (Route 3).

Detours will be in place to help manage traffic flow, with motorists directed via Ruby Line and Southlands Boulevard or Ruby Line and Bay Bulls Road.

Drivers are urged to follow posted signage, obey traffic control measures and reduce speed in construction zones.
