Teen charged after fight on Water Street in St. John's

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary arrested a 15-year-old male Tuesday evening following a disturbance on Water Street in St. John’s.
Officers responded to reports of a fight around 8:00 p.m. When they arrived, they spoke with the complainant and several witnesses.
As a result of the investigation, the youth was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges, including assault with a weapon, assaulting a peace officer, uttering threats, and resisting arrest.
He was held in custody overnight and is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.
