Teen arrested after assaulting police officer

A 16-year-old is in custody after RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a residence in the east end of St. John’s in relation to a disturbance just before midnight last night.

As a result of the investigation, the male youth was charged with uttering threats and assaulting a police officer.

The male was held to appear in court in the morning.
