TCH reopens west of Chapel Arm following collision

UPDATE: The highway has now reopened.

EARLIER: The RCMP is advising that both lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway are currently closed west of the Chapel Arm turnoff as emergency crews respond to a motor vehicle collision.

The collision occurred this morning around 3:30 a.m.

People are asked to avoid the area and expect delays. Updates will be provided when available.
