Swoop Airlines returns to Deer Lake

The Deer Lake Regional Airport is welcoming back Swoop Airlines.
Last week, Swoop airlines returned to Deer Lake with flights from Deer Lake to Hamilton and Deer Lake to Toronto with base fares starting a $68. The Deer Lake route is seasonal.
The airline offers year-round service to St. John's International Airport.
Swoop is a Canadian ultra-low-cost carrier owned by WestJet.
Flew with them last year and not super impressed. They lost my brand new Samsung tablet and took no responsibility. On the way home, the lady across from me was rummaging around the overhead, her laptop flew out, hit me in the face and almost broke my nose. Staff never even batted an eye. I complained to the airline and they told me they weren’t responsible for the other passenger and as for my computer, when going through security they completely tore all my belongings apart, told me and I quote “we‘re sorry you lost your tablet but we claim no responsibility.
