SUV strikes piece of heavy equipment in St John's, Saturday morning

Just after 7:15 a.m, on Saturday, Emergency crews responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Arctic Avenue and Sand Pits Road, which is located at Memorial University Campus in St John's.

Upon arrival, Emergency personnel found a small compact SUV, which had collided into a loader, causing the SUV to sustain minor damage to it's front end.

The operator of the loader was unharmed in the incident, but its unclear if the opponent(s) of the SUV were injured/and or required medical transport.

As a result, there were no serious injuries reported.
