A suspicious fire destroys multiple vehicles in St John's, Thursday night.

The St John's Regional Fire Department communications center received multiple calls of a large blaze near the corner of Ruby Line and Heavy Tree Road.

When fire crews arrived they found a large blaze and heavy black smoke coming from behind the a home, it was quickly determined that a fire had broke out in a smaller lot behind the home and when firefighters walking around they found multiple school busses on fire.

Fire crews were on the scene for roughly two and half hours to get the fire under control and check for remaining hotspots. Firefighters from multiple stations responded, including Mount Pearl, Brookfield, West-End and Central.
